Why:
We have all seen much in the media about a consensus of scientists supporting Man-made Global Warming. However we have not been able to find a listing of the learned persons comprising this consensus. This site is for climate scientists, other scientists, researchers, analysts and the general public to stand up and be counted.
What to do here:
Just register your view here. First, you will be asked for some basic details to set up an account. You will then be asked about your position regarding aspects of Climate Change. Finally you will be asked some questions about yourself for analysis purposes. You may identify yourself or use an alias. You may go back and change your record as your views or circumstances change. Only your username and position on Manmade Global Warming will be shown on your user profile. Your views will form part of our analyses but will not allow you to be identified. We realize that your views recorded here may not be the same as views you wish to be seen to hold for professional, employment or other reasons.

We believe that this is the only Climate Change Consensus Tracker on the 'Net. We
want to see if there is a Consensus, and if so, what it is. We have
our own views on this topic, which are clear to anybody prepared to
look. However, we are first and foremost, researchers who faithfully
report what is found without fear or favour. We pledge to be
scrupulously honest in reporting any statistics from this Register and
from any other source. A table of all data (without identifying
information) will be forwarded to any who ask.
